Tempo d'Eole brings five acrobats, four horses and a dog together in the circus tent for a spectacular performance.
Just before the show, everything seems under control. The horses are beautifully harnessed, the performers shine with all their strength and elegance. An unimaginable performance begins, full of gold and glitter that dazzles the audience.
But backstage, tension grows; in the shadows of the seats, hooves kick restlessly. There are whispers and warnings, but no one wants to hear. Until it is too late. After pride comes the fall: at the show's grand finale, the reins break loose, the costumes are torn off and the make-up runs.
'D'Or et de Sang' (of gold and blood) took inspiration from the traditional circus while breaking away from the hierarchical and patriarchal structures behind it. Little by little, order gives way to chaos and the door is opened to a harmonious relationship between humans (and animals).
